A massive fire broke down in a godown of southern Delhi during late hours of Tuesday. With heavy winds, the fire spread to close by areas, including a school. The enduring panic of the residents were calmed down by the entrance of the Indian Air Force.

An IAF Mi 15V5 chopper fitted with bambi buckets, sprayed over 400 litres of water, to contain the flames in the affected areas. After which, cooling operations were launched. In another great feat by the Indian Air Force, safety was ensured with 0 casualties. VIR India congratulates the IAF for another successful rescue operation. With no casualties, the Indian Air Force demonstrated their skills to ensure safety, as well as save lives during a disaster.
